Two farm festivals shape fall around Elizabeth, and neither is inside the town. The Patch is east on Highway 86 in Kiowa. Lone Creek Farms is west on Highway 83 in Franktown. Both list general admission at $27.95. The difference is the hours they keep. One is a daytime weekend farm. The other runs into the evening and opens on Thursdays. With three weeks left in the season, that split tells you more about where to go and when than the price does.
The East Farm Closes at Six
The Patch sits at 7400 SH-86 in Kiowa. Its fall festival runs September 19 through October 31, 2026. It's open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., plus two weekday dates, October 15 and 16, for fall break. This is the farm's tenth fall season. The 10th Anniversary Corn Maze, according to the farm's activities page, "features Walter himself."
Admission is $27.95 per person for ages 3 and up, and children 2 and under get in free. The farm says, "No ticket fees. Ever. The price you see is the price you pay." A ticket covers 14 activities. The festival page names the corn maze, the pumpkin field, a hay wagon ride, and an apple cannon. Cider donuts come out of the fryer all day. You can pick a pumpkin in the field, but taking it home means paying for it at the barn. For repeat visits there are three upgrades: Patch Plus at $39.95, a Fall Season Pass at $49.95, and the 2026 Patch Passport at $64.95.
The Patch also gives each paid fall ticket a free extra, which changes by weekend. It calls these Patch Perks. Three are left this season:
- October 17 and 18: a mini pumpkin
- October 24 and 25: your pick of any earlier perk, which were paintball shots, apple cannon shots, a lemonade, a small kettle corn, or a mini pumpkin
- October 31: Halloween candy, or your pick of perk
The Patch has no evening hours this fall. The gates close at 6 p.m. every day it's open.
The West Farm Runs Until Nine
Lone Creek Farms is at 3879 N State Highway 83, on Parker Road in Franktown. Its 2026 season opened Friday, September 25. It runs Thursday through Sunday until November 1, plus Wednesday, October 14, which the farm added for Douglas County's fall break. Daily hours set it apart from The Patch: Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The evening hours exist because of something new this year. Lone Creek's homepage introduces Harvest Glow Lights as "our walking, ground level light show with glowing character cutouts and colorful lights." It's included with admission on weekend nights and started October 2. The farm's FAQ and its ticketing page disagree on which weekend nights the lights run. Check the farm's site before planning a Sunday-night visit around them.
Admission includes more than 20 attractions with live shows every hour, plus the corn maze and pumpkin patch. The base price matches The Patch, but the details differ.

Look at the age rows if you have a 3-year-old. That child gets in free at Lone Creek and pays full price at The Patch. Lone Creek's cheaper Thursday ticket comes with a catch: its festival map notes that the add-on attractions are closed on Thursdays. Those add-ons are priced separately at $1 per ticket, $9 for 10, or $16 for 20. The farm also says its season pass pays for itself after two visits.
So the price stays the same and the timing changes. A Saturday afternoon could go to either farm. A Friday evening, a Thursday, or the first Sunday in November can only go west.
Main Street Gets One Saturday Morning
Downtown Elizabeth fits into this calendar once. According to Inside Elizabeth, on Saturday, October 24, the Elizabeth Area Chamber of Commerce takes over South Main Street for Boo Bash on Main. It's a harvest festival set among the brick storefronts, along with a Trick or Treat Street where downtown businesses hand out candy. The same listing says the Chamber posts the vendor list and block closures in the two weeks before the event.
A third-party event listing on AllEvents shows 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with street vendors, food and drink, and costume contests. As of this writing, the Elizabeth Main Street events page doesn't list the event, and the Chamber hasn't posted official hours. Treat those times as provisional until the organizers confirm them.
The Town of Elizabeth's 2026 events list goes straight from the September 26 Historic Downtown Walk & Talk to the December 5 Mayor's Tree Lighting. That makes the Chamber's Saturday the only Halloween-season event on Main Street this year.
October 24 is also the day all three calendars overlap. Boo Bash takes the morning. The Patch's pick-any-perk weekend is open until 6 p.m. Lone Creek runs until 9 p.m., with Harvest Glow after dark. Because each one keeps different hours, you can fit all three into one day.
Where to Eat Between Main Street and the Highway
The places to eat around Boo Bash are a short walk from South Main Street, based on Inside Elizabeth's current dining list:
- The Elizabeth Brewing Company, 239 S Main St, is a taproom open seven days.
- Small Town Mini Donuts, 166 S Main St, Unit 103, makes mini donuts to order.
- Mountain Man Nut & Fruit Company, 207 S Main St, is a candy and nut shop.
- Carriage Shoppes Tea Room, 392 S Main St, serves sandwiches and tea.
- Elizabeth Kitchen + Bar, 240 S Elizabeth St, Unit 110, is a block off Main and serves lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
- Catrina's Latin Food, 210 S Elizabeth St, Unit A, is just off Main and open daily.
Farther out on the highway, El Pinito Family Restaurant at 800 E Kiowa Ave is open daily.
The Remaining Calendar, Day by Day

Fall break opens the two farms on different days. Lone Creek adds a Wednesday for Douglas County's break, and The Patch adds that Thursday and Friday. Taken together, the two farms are open on every day from October 14 through October 18.
After November 1, the East Farm Opens at Night
The hours flip in December. The Patch says it's closed between seasons, so it goes quiet after Halloween. It reopens November 27 for its first-ever Christmas season, which runs through December 27. Hours are Fridays from 4 to 11 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 11 p.m., with ice skating, Christmas lights, Santa and Mrs. Claus, and seasonal food.
Main Street has its next turn on Saturday, December 5, with the Mayor's Tree Lighting on the Town's 2026 calendar. The Town hasn't published hours or a program for that night yet, so check back before you plan around it.
